Holden’s New Care Model
The Holden NICU Has a New Care Model: Designed to Increase Consistency of Care for the Families.
The happy outcome of several years of work will be realized in October 2005! The Holden NICU staff will divided into two teams, one team for rooms 1 & 2 and one team for rooms 3 & 4. This will mean that half the number staff members as before will be caring for each baby and that a whole team will get to know each baby. The babies will be moved within the room they first arrive into and if needed moved into the room next door, which will also help with consistency of care.
